Granite is undoubtedly one of the toughest materials on the planet. It is formed through a process which takes millions of years deep beneath the earth's surface. As a result, kitchen granite worktops are an excellent work surface, they’re tough and will not scratch under everyday use.

Quartz

Quartz worktops are made from engineered stone. This is a very solid, non-porous material formed by a combination of ground quartz, resins and polymers, preventing bacteria from growing and making it more hygienic.
